Pain Medication During IUD Insertion and Removal

While this topic may be a bit outside our norm, I have a bone to pick with OBs. While the IUD is a fantastic form of long-term birth control, the process of insertion and removal can be extremely painful- and it is the norm to do both without any pain medication.
